The initial payment followed by marketing tools and autoship payments can leave a serious stain on a person's initial enthusiasm and if people aren't joining their business, then most will look for the exit door.
To me, this has always been a waste of everyone's time; the sponsor, who's efforts in recruiting someone into the business are wasted... and of course, the new distributor who is now several thousand dollars lighter in the pocket and up the proverbial creek without a paddle.
Not many make the 90 day network marketing deadline. Between 80-90% will bail out in the first three months and look for greener pastures. But the truth is, if they go through the same routine they went through during their previous failure then guess what?... they'll more than likely get the same resultant failure in their next opportunity.
It took me a long time to break free from the old network marketing mentality of making a list, 3 foot rules and hassle every one in sight, and it didn't change until I got a chance to read a copy of Ann Sieg's book, The Renegade Network Marketer.
Creating cashflow on the front end is vital to surviving those first few months in any business let alone Network Marketing. Ann has done a good job in exposing tired old network marketing myths and has outlined a blueprint for not only creating immediate cashflow but targeting people who want to hear what you have to say.
A word of warning though, The Renegade Network Marketer is not full of any fluff, in fact, if you are an old school MLM'er set in your ways, then give the book a pass. It will offend you. It doesn't hold any punches.
However, if you want to understand why prospecting and recruiting could actually be destroying your business... why a business opportunity is
literally the last thing you want to be selling and... how to make money REGARDLESS of whether you sponsor anyone or not, then The Renegade Network Marketer is the life raft you've been desperately searching for.
It gets my highest recommendation.
