So just how do I increase the quality & quantity of my website traffic?
Did you ever ask yourself that question?
Increasing website traffic without spending money is not that easy these days.
But here's the truth, there are still many ways to get targeted customers to your site.
1) Write articles related to your website.
Always have fresh relevant content written with your target audience in mind. Content that will help them solve their problems . . . that offers them real solutions. Don't copy and publish other articles on your website, because your website's ranking will probably go down on all the search engines.
2) Create or give away lots of free tools for your visitors to enjoy.
One of the common mistakes I've seen is a dating website where somebody has a meta tag creator on his website. What would you call that? Someone who is interested in dating other people will use the meta tag creator for what? Make sure the tools are in sync with your target audience or site theme.
3) Get lots of high quality one-way back links from other authority websites.
Some of you might ask "how would that increase my traffic"?, Trust me, for a website to be treated as a quality website not a garbage dump it needs quality sites linking back. When they are linking back to you they are saying your website has something useful for visitors. I know a few webmasters who were penalized by search engines, but are still making real good money by the traffic they get from high quality backlinks.
4) If you are serious webmaster then you should treat your website as your future investment.
Do not try to make your website #1 in your niche within a few months. That's not possible. Both you and your website need time. I have a friend who had a dating website since 2003 and had only 2 links on the page that time, but now there are more than 1200 links and it happened by itself. People find you, and exchange links, offer partnerships, business proposals etc. This WILL happen overtime.
If you want to get thousands of website visitors to your site for free then you'll need a little time, otherwise you need to buy traffic and advertisements.
